A while back, a group of car enthusiasts with a passion for modifying their Japanese cars, decided to form a group. This group was created with intentions of allowing others with the same interest to talk to each other about cars, exchange ideas and opinions, help each other with technical problems, and to organise events and cruises.
There's one thing all of the members of J-Spec have in common: We love Japanese Cars!
Our Goal
Our goal is to attract like minded people to join our group and to make good friends. We'd love to see you new people attending our events and cruises, even if you just stop by to say hi!
We are also in the midst of making J-Spec an official club, so stay tuned for future things to come! Things currently being sorted : Official Club registration, Sponsors, Club trade accounts, and Autosalon/Trackdays.
How do I join J-Spec
We encourage our fellow enthusiasts to join our events and cruises that we hold regularly through out each year. The idea is, you come along, introduce yourself to our friendly group (or maybe tag along with a friend that you know within the group), and give us an opportunity to get to know you better.
After attending a few or more events and we know you better, we have monthly nominations for people to join J-Spec (voted by current members).
The reason for this is simple. We need to know what sort of people are joining. If we just simply let anyone in, that person maybe a street racer, or wannabe street skidder, or cause havoc around the watchful eye of the public, and find out they are affiliated with J-Spec, this will completely ruin the reputation of our Club and oppose everything we stand for. We are responsible, car enthusiasts, probably much like yourselves. Therefore, we would like to keep the club free from trouble makers (pull a skid au )
All the members have a fair chance to vote, and justify their decision. Everything is carefully considered. We don't just choose to let in friends, everyone has a fair chance.
So come along to our BBQ/Cruises/Photoshoots and feel free to talk about absolutely anything on our forums. Best way to meet good people, and hey, you might be surprised who you bump into.
